Why not and what makes you think so?
The install of Open Solaris 10 I saw used grub as it's boot loader.

@ hellknight when u ordered the dVD's ??

I think about a month back, the delivery was quick. They'll send you three DVD's

1. Solaris 10 x86 cum 64-bit edition.
2. Solaris 10 for Sun Sparc (their own processors)
3. Sun Java development kit
