For Samsung, M21 & M31 are the only good options. A series is overpriced, even M series is, but not to that extent.

Top options, Moto One Fusion+ & Poco X2. Moto has stock android going for it along with being a good phone overall with great battery life. Poco X2 lacks on battery front in comparison but has much faster charging, 120Hz display & better cam sensor. In terms of image quality, Moto sometimes gives better images even with an inferior sensor but GCam will help both.

I think you better avoid motorola too as read some issues with it related to volte/sms in online comments. See if you can get K20.

Only issue with K20 will be that its 1 OS update old, launched with android 9, so at max will get 11. Poco X2 should get 12, for Moto, maybe it will get 12 as well.

Officially yes but there is an unofficial Miui EU rom(quite recommended at xda for its non-bloat/more privacy friendly features) which should be available for k20 for android 12.

That is not an option for less tech-savvy people which btw is the majority of android users in India. I suggested miui EU rom because it is at least more easier to switch to it compared to custom rom.

M2 Pro has faster charger in-box over 9 Pro, so not that bad of a deal for 6GB/64GB but Moto One Fusion+ costs same as 6GB/128GB model & that's just better hardware-wise as well.

Other than Poco X2 & Moto, most other phones have a dedicated SD card slot, so 64GB should suffice for internal storage.

A few months back the answer would have been simple, redmi K20. Using it myself & has a good amoled screen,good battery & a good camera. Now that its price has increased & you insist on amoled screen without increasing the budget then this seems to be your only option if you consider hardware.

Camera performance is good outdoors but about avg indoors when using front cam. Back cam I think is good enough for all usages. Battery life is certainly above avg but I know it is lesser than my radmi k20.

Samsung M31/M21 or Realme X2/XT or Redmi K20 (if you can increase budget as it lacks SD card slot), if AMOLED is must have.

Samsung M21 might be the best value for money choice, weakest performance, but cheapest as well. M31's price is hard to justify with the same processor as M21, which is S660 level. Realme X2/XT are good choice as well for 18-20k but 1 OS update old, same case for Redmi K20 but is better built than everything else, costs more as well. You must buy 128GB K20, if going for that.

Realme X2, if you can find it or Redmi K20

Not many AMOLED options. With Samsung, you sacrifice performance for brand name but display & battery life are best in class.

Its bad. M31 is better for cheaper price or M21 is similar at lower price.
