Canvas Turbo has some nice specs but old android version doesn't do it any justice + i doubt about its battery life (2000mah is small) as 1080p would drain a lot of battery

Redmi Note 4G is good but is heavy
Yureka is good

As its for your spouse, i guess she would like a good looking phone which doesn't hang

I personally think Redmi 2 or Lenovo A6000 should be sufficient for her
Yureka is for the geeks, but nevertheless it has great hardware, you can go for it if you want

+1 to Yu Yureka, the best phone under 15k currently. :doublethumb:

Micromax should discontinue all their other phones and mass produce (or rebrand) phones like Yureka which have current gen 64 bit Qualcomm SoC's with CM11s. ;)

My suggestion get Zenphone 5.

This one is a superb phone with great camera,build quality & design.

You may go for Yu but i feel Zenphone 5 is more than sufficient for her.

Whaat you are married :shock:. I don't knew about that.

I would recommend yureka for you. Or if you want a more simpler experience I would say go for Lumia 535.

She is looking for a larger screen (5~6") phablet model.

Lumia 535 was also under consideration,but my wife feels better with Android phones. I mean the ease of use(usage patterns). For tweaking I am there with your help + XDA Forum + ...

[MENTION=125133]Minion[/MENTION],your suggestions are also very much welcomed.Really it missed my eyes.I think ASUS Zenphone 5 might be a great buy...:chinscratch::thumbs:

^After some months, there may be launches from who knows which OEM and then Yu Yureka may not remain the best phone under 15k. Just saying. :)

I would have added Lumia 640 and 640XL to that list but since she wants android,Id increase budget and get OPO,HTC D820 or even Yureka for 9k

but honestly please dont fall for brands such as Micromax(Yureka is an exception to this),Xiaomi,Alcatel,ZTE etc
Phone is now a very personal part of our lives and deserves no compromise/risk , reliable product is a must imho

You didn't post her requirements. So I'm assuming the ones you posted can be taken as reference. As long as gaming is not a requirement, lot of options are available.

Moto G would have been an all rounder, but it is a bit outdated now.
