slow net download speed

hi my internet provider is hathway and i had a plan for 3 months which is of 512kbps-night unlimited.when i download any thing from torrents it would give me a download speed of 60kbps,but when i download form any file sharing sites as mediafire,rapidshare,megaupload,etc... it gives me only 30kbps max.
can any one tell me how to over come this

Torrent download speed depends on the available seeds and peers, as many seeds and peers are in torrent link as much speed you will get in downloading torrent. It may 60KBPS not 60 kbps, if you are getting 60 KBps, it is very good speed in 512kbps connection, you can get upto 64 KBps too. In Rapidshare or Megauplaod downloading, you can get the same speed depending upon their server load.

^ plus there is this factor of FREE USER n PREMIUM USER to be considered when you're talking about RS and other sites...generally the speeds are reduced to a FREE USER..so in that case, you can't do much apart from paying up money and buying a PREMIUM account...

But I'm a free user, and till last month I had a 2MBPS, which gave me 267KBPS with RS downloads all the time.
