Sify Broadband users!

I want to keep Kaspersky Antivirus Pro 5.0 but my Sify Broadband Client is showing that you should download a Licened Antivirus. My Kaspersky is up to date and it expiry date is 16/6/2006. Plz Help!

It showing that Connection To Sify failed. I have filled my user name and password also but it is still showing the same msg.

well you can do another thing i.e call up your
location wise Sify customer care and tell them
that you have your own anti virus
they would then approriately disable the Sify AV for you

ya i no i no....these sify people create a big fuss about anti viruses and firewall....do what i have done....download the sify authorised antivirus(McAfee VSAP)....then disable it by going to msconfig.....you are done!!!.....you can now use the antivirus and firewall of your choice....i have done the same thing and its working perfectly...

Same prob... was with me.... call sify customer care... and told them to disable your antivirus.......... and they will ask which antivirus you will use.. then thts it... 8)

Thanks guys I have disabled my anti-virus by calling up Customer Care. Now, I can use my Kaspersky AntiVirus Personal Pro.

Sify really sux! U have to use their choice of antivirus Mcafee that is intially and face problems and do plenty of system formats untill u loose ur mental balance! Well my friend told me that!
