shutting problem

my computer takes too long time to shutdown and even sometimes it doesn't shut down.
can anybody suggest me any solution?is it because of virus or something else?

bring up a task manager > shut down > click TURN OFF while pressing CTRL

ya i know the thing u r tryin to say but does't it shut down computer without giving tie to save files and settings...?

Try Windows Vista does not shutdown.
