should i buy bioshock infinite

i haven't played bioshock 1 or 2 so i'm really confused whether should i get it or not , i have played bioshock 2 but it was really boring and every one says bioshock 2 is a really bad game because it hasn't been made by the original bioshock makers , so can i play infinite whithout playing these 2 games or should i play bioshock 1 or 2 first ?

Yup you can play it. The game is not much related to the first 2 games in the series.
Even I didn't play the first two games‚ and directly went for BioShock infinite.

I personally didn't enjoy it. It felt like a standard run n gun with shields and excessive bloom. The gameplay was nothing special IMO.

Uhh.. My comment was on the gameplay, the most important part of the game, rather than AAA hollywood cinematics. Not sure where that came in in my comment.
