Sharing broadband netween laptop and PC

hi.

i have the adsl huawei wa1003A wifi modem.

want to share my sify conx between laptop and pc.

i have connected the modem to my pc and the net conx to the lappy.

how do i configure them so that i can browse on my pc also.

I am not sure if you can share your Sicfy connection inbetween 2 PCs because sicfy fraudband used MAC binding. You will have to call there customer scare and arrange it with them.

btw tumhare area mein koi doosra ISp nahi hai kya? I suffered a lot with sicfy fraudband.

airtel says :unable to process my request.
bsnl : will take a little more than a month if lucky.
tata indicomm: no signal acc. to frnds here.
sify: gave the conx in one day's time.

Here's what I did:

Plugged in Sify cable into my wireless router's "Internet" port.
Plugged in a cable from router to PC.
Dialed the sify connection.
After that the router broadcasted the sify internet signal via ethernet and wifi.

That's what I did.

the huawei router has one lan port, one adsl port (adsl) and wifi.

what i want to do is connect my pc to the router thru lan, connect my lappy directly to sify and make the pc share internet access wirelessly thru the router from the lappy.


can anyone suggest ways to do so.

If it has wifi, can't you connect to the pc through wire and laptop through wifi?

i wll be using lappy primarily for browsing. so i want the conx on the lappy rather than the pc. above suggestion is obviously the easiest way out.
