Sharing a internet connection between 2 laptops

Hi frnz

I had a problem recently. I have 2 laptops running XP and both are networked. I can access the files & play multiplayer games, etc.

One of the laptops had the TATA indicom vdata card installed on it. So i wanted to share the internet connection on both laptops through LAN.

Please help me to setup the connection.

i have already done that. But to no avail. No response on the other laptop. Otherwise the LAN works well. I can tranfer all files etc. but i have not been able to figure out how to share the connection. I even tried the network connectionn wizard to do the same but still i can't get them to share.

Call some technician/knowledgeable friend.

Without Sneak Peaking into your PC in LIVE Mode it's hard to solve your trouble. Better ask some knowledgeable friend/technician.

He will help you the Most ;)

guys i solved it out. MODs kindly close the thread. Made some changes to the firewall. Some exceptions here and there and things are working smoothly now.
