Setting Up IE for Dataone...

Hi guys,

I reinstalled my OS yesterday.. I'm unable to setup the Internet Explorer for Dataone.. Whenever i open IE no page is getting Displayed.. Not Even the 'Page Cannot Be Displayed' Error page.

I have Mozilla Firefox.. But i''ve a prob here too.. I'm unable to open the Dataone Site to view my usage records.. Dataone simply puts up a message 'Sorry, IE is needed' whenever i open it's site via Firefox..

Plz tell me how to setup the IE for Dataone.. Or tell me the way to check my Usage Records via Firefox.. Dataone Bandwidth Usage Finder by Shaplus is also not working without IE..

Can u open other sites from IE.

Otherwise the steps to setup dataone are:

Step1:
IE>Tools>Internet options>connections>setup>next>next>setup mu connection manually and click next>second option(user/pass wala)>type ISP name and click next>type user/pass info>finish

Step2:
IE>Tools>Internet options>connections>never Dial a connection

Step3:
IE>Tools>Internet options>connections>settings>uncheck Automatically detect settings>ok

Step4:
IE>Tools>Internet options>connections>Lan Settings>uncheck Automatically detect settings(uncheck all options here)>ok

Note: the above steps are for a non pppoe connection
to setup a always on pppoe connection u need to config modem and when u create a new connection in step 1 insted of choose "connect using broadband connection that is always on"
