Segate GoFlex eSATA Connecter

I have a Seagate external 500GB hard drive . Yesterday GoFlex eSATA Connecter failed to detect my drive. . when I insert my friend connector , it detected .This Portable Hard Drive out of warranty. now I want to buy this connecter . is it possible to buy this one from Seagate or any other source. need suggestions.

it seems they are costly.

i believe the hdd inside the case is sata one and can be removed, may be you can buy another external casing and put the hdd.
