security n web-filtering in LAN

hi guyz..... i need to know bout certain s/ws which can provide me security as well as web filtering in LAN. I tried evaluation version of zone alarm's security suite which provides web filtering but it has some problems............. some times it even blocks mail.yahoo.com n sometimes it lets porn sites to open. wat can be the reason?? i think it blocks yahoomail as it is trying to access port 80. can u suggest any other content filtering s/ws or can u tell me wats the problem with zone alarm??

try We-Blocker Free for content filtering along with Kerio Personal Firewall (Free) or ZoneAlarm Free Firewall.....

port 80 is the http port
basically everything u access on the net ( sites and http downloads _ is thru port 80
so if ur port 80 was blocked u wouldnt be able to surf at all
an easier way would be to add sites on ur trusted and block sites lists ...

can u tell me any web filter s/w which i can install on server or proxy server and which works on all clients.......without need of installing it on clients??? any solutions
