se xperia pro doubts

hey guys i am going to buy se xperia pro.i have few questions regarding to it.
1>i will use the phone for watching videos,both on youtube and on the device itself.so i want to know how is the video playback of it?i mean what format does the device play and how easy is to convert videos for it?and how is the streaming of youtube device?

2>i like wallpapers.so i will be setting some good wallpapers.so how will the wallpaper set it self since it has several homescreens?

You don't need to convert vidoeos.
Just install any player like VLC or Moboplayer on your phone and you can play all the videos(of every format).
You will set a single wallpaper which will appear on all the screens,but there will some change like if when you are on the left most screen(or can say the 1st screen) you will be viewing the left and middle side of the wallpaper
