Considering the price point and rumoured specs, that won't matter. This is clearly not targeted at people who would consider the actual performance of the Processor before buying it.

it could be one of those moments where this processor beats the i7 3960x and everyone will go "you dont say"

I think this cpu would be more like a souvenir for the people interested in it and my reach around ~6 Ghz on Air but all will be revealed if AMD decides to launch this actually.
