ok simple one, remember from school. at sea level, atmospheric pressure is 1 kg per square centimeter, over the surface area of the body (1.9 m^2), that adds up to about a tonne of weight. how can the body carry so much weight all the time and withstand the force without crushing.

It's simple? My Instant answer was organisms have evolved to bear the weight of the atmosphere. then understood the answer, went back to the sir and told him i found the answer. 4 years later.
