Require WD RED 3TB

Hello everyone.

I purchased recently an iomega IX2 2 Bay disk less NAS.

I am looking at some of the recommend drives and decided on WD Red 3TB and started to look for it. to my surprise I am not able to find them
anywhere and I had been seeing Ads from WD RED in POPSCI mag from 4 to 5 months and also lots of news articular saying WED RED released in
India in July Aug 12 time frame..

I tried contacting some distributors and also the WD direct, Absolutely no response from any other then one distributor who replied its not available and did not give me
estimated time frame for availability.

So requesting if any of you aware or know about the WD RED 3TB availability in India or when it will be available.

I have never seen one on sale ever, although I have seen the adverts you are referring to. If you are in Bangalore, contact some shops in SP road and try your luck.

I don't think they are still available for sell in the market..

Finally found it through a dealer in SP road , BLR, Initially he said he will arrange for 2TB RED and after sometime he said he was able to arrange for 2 3TB RED
drives.

What's the price he's quoting? I don't need RED, WD Green will do but looking for 3TB all the same.
