Request for info - Mid range CPU+Mobo

Can any one suggest a mid range good combination of AMD CPU and Mobo fetching around 7 K or less, and similar combination for Intel CPU/Mobo
A MicroATX mobo should be fine for me.
I am planning to build a system..yet to decide if I should go for Intel or AMD

For mid range, Stick only with AMD ASUS series..(for stable and reliable and compatibility)
