It will be better if you also tell us about how do you plan to use the phone...like mainly for local calls, or STD calls or only messaging.

Also do remember that RIM and TATA are CDMA based services. Hence there is no SIM card in these phones. You will have to go for the entire handset which can't be used in GSM or a rival CDMA network.

Hey I am using tata indi 2 year plan. But totally disappointed with the quilty of sound.
I took another connection of airtel, they are the best, I think.........

Me a happy Reliance user .. I'd recommend you Reliance too ..
Waise Tata Indicom is based on RUIM ( T Sims ) which means if you wanna switch to some other CDMA operator, you can .. Reliance has started giving RUIM just now ..

Its all depends on the area where u r... in some TATA is better... in some Reliance is better...
