915 support 400 MHz RAM as well as 333 MHz

don't buy the 2.66 GHz it comes without HT

better get a Pentium 4 3 GHz with HT, for 915 board

Y not A8N-E, it's dam good, U can also go for A8V but it's AGP

Regarding your second question, the X600 is far better than the 6200. But it's not fair to compare the 2 because the X600 costs much more.

For Intel procc if u want to go for onboard vga and the 915 chipset then go for ASUS P5GD1-VM . and dont buy the 2.66 ghz procc , better go for 2.8 ht or 3.0 ht ... another good procc is INTEL PENTIUM 4 630 (could not find it at my place , this one has 2mb l2 cache and 3.0 ghz clockspeed , it will be hardly available though)

For AMD sock 939 other than ASUS A8N-E you can go for MSI K8 NE04 PLATINUM. its a very good board.

X600 will be better than a 6200. I dont suggest the 6200 , its better to go for a Gainward vanilla 6600 if u r on a tight budget.
