This is regarding to the installation of Windows7 using the Disk got with the Latest addition of Digit magazine

I am trying to install the Windows7 OS using a Disk got with Digit Magazine

It has several softwares in a bundle. When I Chose Windows 7 and click on ' Install ' . I am getting this dialogue:

"spinstall.exe is not a valid Win32 application"

SO I have copied the single software to a disc and attempted to install it. But no use. Also I tried to burn the specific software to a separate disk using Power ISO software. But failed .

Does any body have Idea about the solution of the issue?

Note :The current OS I am using is Windows XP 2

Thank you!

That's not windows 7 OS provided with the mag - it's just the service pack update package.
Kust like Xp and service pack 2.

If you want to install it you need to have windows 7 OS installed on your pc.

The error message you getting because you don't have windows 7 installed on your pc.

I don't recall Digit giving Windows 7 in last 1 year I guess. In may issue they have provided Windows 7 SP1 and as you are using XP so getting the error message. First install windows 7 in your PC then that file would work flawlessly. :)

Although Digit did provided Enterprise Trial version in their January 2010 edition. So you can install Windows 7 from that but then you would have 3 days to use it then you have to buy the license.
