regarding the graphic card compatibility

Right off the assembly line
hi,

I have a desktop PC with the configuration intel core 2 duo processor, intel dg965ry motherboard, 1 gb ram , 160 gb hardisk. Now i am planning to buy a MSI 8600gt graphic card, please suggest is that graphic card compatible with my motherboard or shall go for some other graphic card.
