recover the grub of fc 4.

hi frd, i have lost my fc 4 grub. i have a cd for fc 4. but i dont know how can it recover.and also i m not entering in fc 4 through it's recue mode.i haven't made any bootable diskett.
so pls help me out from this problem.

Answered a hell lot of times
boot with 1st FC4 CD/DVD.type 'linux rescue'.select the linux partition.mount
using: 'chroot /mnt/sysimage'
type 'grub-install /dev/hdx' where x is partititon number.for sata try 'sdx'.

hey guys , as i mentioned that i m not able to enter in rescue mode becuase of resolution problem. whenever i write "linux resolution=1024x768" on command promt at starting of instalation thae & then it will continue. so how can i enter in rescue mode. coz to do so we have to write linux rescue.
and if i do so i will not get my proper resolution.

so pls find out another way.

just type "linux lowres". I also had faced a same problem. This helped me.

I think the rescue mode is actually command line based, so you should not face resolution problems.

If not, try "linux rescue resolution=1024x786".

Why don't you try vga=791 . Somebody correct me if wrong.
