Recommend config in the following budgets...

i want to buy following things..
MB
HDD
Ram (minimum 2gb)
processor

There r two budgets....
15k and 20k...

Also, if i will need PSU other than those which normally come with cabinets to run the above config, then please recommend the same separate from the budget...

G.Skill F3-10666CL7D-4GBRH (2Gx2) @ 3.7k

Total - 17k

15k -

AMD Athlon II x4 635 @ 4.5k
Gigabyte GA 880GMA UD2H @ 5.5k
G.Skill F3-10666CL7D-4GBRH (2Gx2) @ 3.7k
Seagate 500GB 7200.12 @ 1.7k

Total - 15.4k

psu - Corsair CX400W @ 2.7k for both of those configs. if you can get this one. best in its range and futureproof.

you may want to spend the rest on cabinets. then get NZXT GAMMA @ 2k.

Depends on the city. Gskill are fairly common.

Get Corsair if you can't find gskill.

one last question...
its about the mb suggested

I just checked the mb on website and it seems to have versions 2.0, 2.1, 2.2
Are those versions significant? Will the versions affect the price? And should I specifically purchase certain version?

Kindly answer this question so that I can go off to lamington road today

usually the latest and stable version will be replaced and available unless the vendor keeps old stock. It's hard to get the version you want but asking them about latest version is also not a bad idea... .. So give a try if you don't find latest version...

Price won't be effected by the versions ,it's just Gigabyte updates the known fixes.. performance will not be any difference...

his usage and budget is same as me...

so should i give him the same config or are there some minor modifications?

btw the ram u suggested is 2gb... so should i purchase 2 sticks of the new model or the 1 u suggested before for my pc, so that the pc has 4 gb ram
