Recommend a good 60GB SSD for laptop

I believe all SSDs are 2.5" so that means they will fit well into the laptop's SATA port. I bought a SSD caddy so I will be replacing my optical drive with SSD.
I dont have a specific budget in mind but I prefer a good value to price option. I can opt for a newer model even if it offers more than 60GB.

Samsung 840 Pro (128GB) has great reviews everywhere!
Even though its a bit expensive (10k) I am seriously considering this one.

But I see 2 issues with this drive:
#1 128GB is more than what I require (I think this is lowest in PRO series)
#2 10K is expensive (I can go for this but need to make sure that this offers a good price to performance ratio)

128gb is the right balance b/w space and speed.Go for it.If you want cheaper, you can go for samsung 128gb evo for 7.6k.

Yes, I am also inclining towards 128GB now. All the 60GB models are kind of outdated in terms of technology. Since I use my laptop for work, I think I will opt for 128GB pro. Its close to 9k here: Buy Online SAMSUNG 128GB SSD 840 Pro Series MZ-7PD128BW in India

840 (non-pro) is also available at around 7k. I need to google more if paying 2k for pro is a good deal or not.

Not much difference in random read/write speed of non-pro and pro. +1 for 840 non-pro
But Pro series has 5yrs warranty! Huge +1 for PRO
