pls... help... me... i have no premium membership. but i downloaded from rapid share using a software called rapidown.the problem is i cant play the video files and extract the zip or rar files. when i try to play video files a message displayed like this "Windows media player cannot play the file. the player might not support the file type or might not support the codec that was used to compress the file" when i try to extract files "no archieves found" message is displayed. pls tell me whats the problem. but without using rapid down i can play and extract the files.

Rapiddown is a software which does not work...It basically downloads stuff from some other site NOT RAPIDSHARE....the file name, size and type will be the same....Rapiddown comes wid a whole lot of adware....so pls check your pc for the same.....

acually no...use your firewall to analyse the connection made....it does not download it from a rapidshare server...gauravakaasid said:

I think you dont have the codecs to play the file. Download and install K-Lite Codec pack and try to play it again with Windows Media Player. That should really help...

thanks... for all your suggesions and replies... but what about zip or rar files... without using rapidown, normally downloaded same zip rar files and videos from the same links work properly whats the reason?!!!

All Rapidshare softwares are useless, Rapidshare is very alert whats going on. As soon as they notice some script or software taking benefit of their system, they change the entire thing.
I remember, few months back...various sites opened giving "Premium Link" to files. Soon Rapidshare realised and changed the Premium Link system. So a Premium Link for me wont be a Premium Link for you
