i have 256 MB 2 RAM ..
Now i am upgrading with 1 GB RAM any thing should been taken care????????

Go for the best possible frequency which you can afford. DDR2 is the way, unless your motherboard supports it.

2 x 512MB Kingston DDR2 667 MHz RAM. If possible go for 2GB.

make sure u buy two exactly same ram modules, that way u have the option of runnig them in dual channel

If you are going to add new RAM..make sure you purchase exact RAM(Type,frequency).

1GB + 256MB has no problems wat so ever.... No runnin in Dual-channel tho...

Moreover 1GB DDR is costlier...
