well quick reply and shout box both are different things and i would suggest u not to mod ur board now coz its still beta and less support is available and i personally have faced major problems in upgrading a modded phpbb 3 forum ... so wait it phpbb goes gold

i was looking ofr the quick reply box like the one that comes at the bottom of thinkdigit threads
so what do u guys say, i should wait for a while??

hmm. if u're confident and familiar with them, maybe u could install them for me?? i'd be very grateful. but its up to u. i've found a number of quick reply tools here. the problem is i'm not being able to install it.

there are a lot of sources for the mods installing them is fairly easy but updating the board after installing a mod is tricky a lot of mods dont wrk frm rc2 to rc3 rc3 to rc4 and so on so its better u dont do too much tinlering coz uv already installed a theme also its a bit risky .... take regualr backups of the entire board before moding and after moding

ok thanx. managed it finally. we were installin it but no refreshing forum from ACP, so the quick reply box wasn't showing up. now its working fine. thanx a lot for ur help guys

ya thts a problem with phpbb3 u need to refresh the templte thru the acp ... irritating at times
