Ps3 jailbreak 4.20...

I have searched the internet and i have found out that its not possible to jailbreak ps3 3.55 and above. But a shop near me tells me that he will do me a jailbreak of 4.20. Further asking he told that it would be downgraded to 3.70. I m on 4.00. What do u think? What should i do. Is is possible. He asks 3000 rs.

there's a hardware mod. even i have heard such a thing. though not very sure. just ask him for some specifics (i think its called 'E3 flashing').
