Please suggest Processor+Motherboard under 14K

My friend is thinking of upgrading his computer with a new processor and motherboard. His budget is 14K.both Intel and amd based solutions are preferred. The mobo shud have onboard graphics and PCIE slot so that he can connect a graphics card later.
I have shortlisted MSI P6NGM and Abit IP35-E motherboards.

Please suggest a gud mobo and procy .The usage is basically gaming and movies

well for onboard graphics IP35 will not be considered... u can consider XFX 650i as it has got onboard gforce 6100 and also has PCI-E slot...

ask him to get a second had graphic card around 2-3k and IP35 with good processor and that will be better

Even the xfx 650i doesnt hav onboard gfx. Get the abit ip35e , a e8200 and a 8400gs. About 14.x k

MOBO- Gigabyte GA-MA78GM-S2H with radeon 3200 onboard gfx(the best among all in onboard gfx)-4.5-5K
proccy-AMD Phenom 9500 - 8K

The best AMD solution under 14 K IMO.
If u dont need phenom then u can get 5000 + X2 black edition for 5-5.5K

Is phenom quad core?
Does it perform better than the intel counterparts?

you should not consider a quad core at the moment as anyways games wont utilise it & it is also a bit expensive at the moment. Instead go for an AMD X2 5000+ and buy a Geforce 8600 or 8500 based graphics card, would be better for gaming.
