@ OP - there ain't much price difference between core i5 2430 and core i5 2500k - 1.5-2k max - if you can go for i5 2500k along with Biostar TZ68K+ @ 6.8k - you will get a much better future proof combo

I think all of u have gone wrong .. How can u compare i3-2100 desktop processor to i5-2430 laptop processor?

i5-2430 is a m processor for laptops..
It has only 2 cores.. And u can't even imagine to compare it with i5-2500k

i have a laptop and a desktop too. I just wanted to know which one is good! Which one gives better performance and my need is gaming.

For gaming a desktop is better than a laptop - so get core i3 2100
