Problem with Sony DVD writer

Hello folks,

I've a problem with my Sony 16X DVD Writer. (DRU-820A)

I noticed the problem yesterday night. I was copying some files from DVD to my HDD. Everything was working fine. All of a sudden the time to copy files increased rapidly. Today morning I noticed that to burn a DVD, it takes about 1 hour. Previously it used to take 13 minutes to burn a DVD at the same speed.

Please help me out.

Check the Transfer mode settings of ur DVD drive
It may have been set to pio mode
Reset it back to DMA or UDMA mode
