Problem with nokia 5230

Recently i am starting to face a problem with nokia 5230 touch from few days,the problem is that when i unlock my phone sometimes it unlocks normally but most of the attempt to unlock(75 percent) it unlock with fuzzy/blurry screen with horizontal and vertical lines.Its very very very frustrating you have to try 30-40 times to have normal screen..
Facing problems after 1.5yrs of buying it.....

To format your phone to factory setting type (*#7370#) but before that, remember to backup your vital data.

tried soft as well as hard reset not solved ....

Then you have only one option left...to ..flash your 5230 to any custom rom.Google it how to flash symbian device.

this problem arrived after when i updated my device to latest firmware 5.0.0.1
anyway to switch back to previous firmware....regretting wht i didnt backup on mem before upgrading...

You cant downgrade an updated firmware using Nokia PC Suite. you need to flash it with custom roms as Tenida said.

First of all Nokia PC Suite is Dead.Its Ovi suite now.

Secondly its Nokia software Update (NSU) ..the utility used to update Nokia Phones.

Thirdly Downgrading To older version of firmware will Kill The Phone.

In order to flash your phone with Custom Rom you have To Use Phoenix or JAF.
Use C6 Port Photon.Its the best and fastest CFW for Symbian S60V5 Devices.
One more Thing its not 5.xx.xx.xx...its 50.xx.xx.xx

Go to dailymobile forum to grab the CFW Files.
Google It.

its again nokia suite now....
nokia clearly states that downgrading will kill your phone, so only way left for you is to find tweaks, use a custom rom or wait for official update from nokia(the update which may never come)....

today i went to a nokia authorised shop to solve this issue ...he said that this is a hardware problem of screen and the screen below touch screen need to be replaced..hes charging 950rs for replacement..is it worth.

Yes it is.They sometime even update the cell etc

nope hardware problem is included in warranty
