Problem with my winxp

I have a pentium 4 pc my configuration is : Pentium 4 2.4Ghz with HT enabled. Mother Board is Intel D865GBF my RAM is 512MB DDR 400MHz with 120 GB samsung hardisk.

The problem is many programs do not run on my machine. i have to change in program compatabilty mode to run as win98/ME.

But the same program runs fine other winxp machines.

i have not installed sp2 but i use sp1

Games like Crimson Skies and programs like RegCleaner etc

do u have sp2 installed ??
more details man ...
some programs dont run with sp2.. u need to get a patch/update

ok sp1 is bakwas
i have installed sp2
no prob on XP
try removing sp1...

dont edit ur post AFTER a question has been asked dude
u can post again theres no tax
goto the respective sites and check for patches for the programs
get the latest version of softwares like regcleaner and see if they work !! thats all u can do
