Problem With Booting

Right off the assembly line
I have a problem with my machine in booting the system.Mine is the new machine and though with all new configurations I have problem with booting.My machine gets restarted again and again. after first boot. if I go to open an application like word and try to close it i am unable to close it and I have to go for task manager to close the application.
Can anybody help to tell me whats the problem with my new machine.I have core to duo with SATA and 945 original Intel Mother Board and 1GB RAM.

You might want to get this topic moved to the Software troubleshooting section. You will get better help there than by posting this in the Open Source section.

PS. You might want to include error messages and what Operating System you are using. Im assuming youre talking about Windows something
