Problem viewing websites through wireless connection

My daughter is a college student. She recently returned home for the summer, and advised me of an issue she is having with her Gateway laptop.

When she connects to a wireless router or access point, she is told in the tray that she is connected, and her connection speed is given. When she opens her browser (Firefox or IE), any page she attempts to connect to returns a 'Server not found' or 'Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage' error. When I then connected the laptop to my router using her ethernet cable, I was able to view any site I wanted.

I thought this might be a firewall issue. I went into the Zone Alarm ISS program control screen, and both browsers are correctly configured for Internet access. Also, the fact that I have no problem browsing when not connected by wireless would seem to indicate it is not a firewall problem.

Does anybody have any suggestions?
