Problem in running Adobe Audition 3

Whenever I try to run Adobe Audition 3, it says:
"Runtime Error. The application has requested the Runtime to terminate in an unusual way. Please contact the application's support team for more information".
The same dialog shows when I run Adobe Audition 2 but it smoothly runs Adobe Audition 1.5. My OS is Windows Vista Ultimate. What are the possible reasons for this Runtime Error?

The Adobe Audition 1.5 and 2 runs properly in Windows XP with SP2. I did not check Adobe Audition 3 in Win XP.

I have heard there is some compatibility issue in windows vista.
Update your windows vista through live update...this may solve your problem.
..OR wait till vista SP1 is released.
Also try to tun without any plugin.

No luck despite installing updates! Any more suggestions please.
