Broken In
I have Ubuntu 10.04 LST installed on my Dell Vostro 1015 Laptop. A Printer named RICOH Aficio MP 1600L is connected locally via USB. I have successfully installed this printer and the printer is shown on System->Administration->Printing-localhost, dialog box with a green check
mark having name RICOH-Aficio-MP-1600L. I used the existing driver for it.
My Problem is that when I give print job like Print Test Page, Printer state display "Processing…" and then after it says "Printer is Online", but nothing prints from the printer. Also the small Printer Icon in System Tray appears and then disappears without any error message. I cannot understand what happens.
I also have a shared printer model name HP 1020 which is connected on another Desktop Computer running Windows XP Pro. I connect it from Ubuntu 10.04 LST via Samba Server and installed it driver successfully. This printer works absolutely fine with no error.
Please help how to correct this problem.
