If 5K is ur budget then for 9600GT

if it is 7.5K to 8K means then best Bang for Buck is HD 4850

nvidia website i thing 8800 has better graphics performance, maximum memory bandwidth and it says bus type pci-e 2.0. but in my motherboard intel dg33fb it is pci-e 1.

no need to worry thats the supporting up to PCIe 2.0 , ok PCI-e 1.0 is more than enough

ATI's HD 4850 kills 8800 graphics

Choose ur brand for HD 4850 palit is the best option for cheap & best

google HD 4850 for reviews

8800 can not stand in front of HD 4850

If you already have a good PSU (not the local ones like TechCom, INTEX yada yada yada), you can go for 9600GT. But if can expand on the budget, go for HD 4850 Palit... I've just ordered both the PSU and HD4850...

If local PSU and 5k budget, you can get down to 3.5k and probably get XFX 8600GT 512 DDR3.... it worked with local PSU
