Hi Friends.

One of my friend need a system for practicing SCCM and VMWare including AD server. All of the softwares will be running in different VM configurations at the same time. So at any given time 2 normal Windows 7 VMs, one Linux VM and one Windows 8 VM will be running along with a AD server (again in another VM) and another server with SCCM 2012 (System center configuration Manager) will be running.

So the load on Processor and RAM will be very extreme and hence need a powerful rig.
Budget is 60K max. May extend another 5K.

1. What is the purpose of the computer? What all applications and games are you going to run? (Stupid answers like 'gaming' or 'office work' will not work. Be exact. Which games? Which applications? Avoid the word 'et cetera.')
Ans: As stated above in the first paragraph.

2. What is your overall budget? If you can extend a bit for a more balanced configuration, then mention this too.
Ans: 60K

3. Planning to overclock?
Ans: No

4. Which Operating System are you planning to use?
Ans: Windows 7 64 bit

5. How much hard drive space is needed?
Ans: 1+1 TB

6. Do you want to buy a monitor? If yes, please mention which screen size and resolution do you want. If you already have a monitor and want to reuse it, again mention the size and resolution of monitor you have.
Ans: Yes probably a new 20 or 22 inch LCD. Normal mainstream LCD will serve the purpose.

7. Which components you DON'T want to buy or which components you already have and plan on reusing?
Ans: No reuse. Every component is to be purchased.

8. When are you planning to buy the system?
Ans: In two weeks from now.

9. Have you ever built a desktop before or will this be done by an assembler?
Ans: Will be done by the assembler.

10. Where do you live? Are you buying locally? Are you open to buying stuff from online shops if you don't get locally?
Ans: Hyderabad, India. First preference is buying locally. Open for online also.

11. Anything else which you would like to say?
Ans: System will be almost running 24 hours. So reliability and stability are important. Open to both Intel and AMD platforms.

get seasonic s12ii 430. also get a cpu cooler like hyper tx3 evo/antec a40.

for multiple VMs, let me suggest to get fx 8350 here. more cores does matter here. what you guys say? but the power consumption will be high though.
