power consumption of monitor

hello,

i have a samsung 56v 15" CRT monitor. i want to know which will use more power -- my monitor, dell 22" and 24" lcd monitors ??

and how much ??

ur crt will take more power
15" CRT - 70watts
22"Lcd - 35~40watts

LCD monitors consume as less as 22 Watt power while CRTs use around 65 watt(Though it will vary with screen size and brand). To know the exact value for your monitors consult monitor's manual and find at it's back.
