Liteon LH-20A1P : Rs. 1900 ( My previous liteon worked like CHEESE )
Transcend 512MB DDR : Rs. 1850
Logitech Navigator Keyboard : Rs. 400 ( doesnt feel that good )
vaccum suction USB : Rs. 60 ( featured in feb issue )

Bought Cabinet - Zebronics Anti-Biotic
Price - Rs. 2400 + taxes (with Zebronics SMPS/PSU)

Problem #1- nothing Major, just that the SMPS Fan makes too much Noise. (air sound - whooosh)

Problem #2 - Front Panel Cables (Audio, mic, USB) are too Short.
this is with Intel DG965WH Motherboard.

Well guys. all these cassette world, pc guide, prime ABGB are crappy and rude ppl...

IT Mall, just on the bend of the bridge , next to mahavir Comps.. very polite.. offer u a chair too and drinks if they see u r interested.. they offered to accompany with a boy to carry goods till ICICI ATM for help ..

they have real competitive pricing..

other shops were saying atleast 2000 for liteon, 1950 for ram, 250 for the vaccum, 450 for the keyb

5. would like to buy XFX 7900gt ,i selected this because, service for xfx is very poor.
6. Any problems after purchasing, and suggestion for those about to purchase.i am unable to understand why i am getting flickers continously not only while playing games but also during normal desktop operation.
please if any body who knows solution discuss it.

check that you don't have an electromagnetic device near your monitor: power adapters, mobiles, wireless devices etc. can also cause the flickering. Also, try degaussing your monitor.

Make sure your monitor is well away from UPS

RAM prices have come down drastically in the last week. But still some time for benefit to reach end users.

512 400 mgz is available at 1700 - 1800 here at Agra but of Olympia brands & Dynate chipsets. Others like Transcend etc also following the price cuts. RAMs are headed for further slides post budget.

I bought stop gap arrangement graphic card till Dx 10 cards comes out

Techcom ATI X300SE 128 MB Rs 2600 from Delhi online on ebay. Earlier I had XFX 6600GT 128 MB, which I bought for 10,000 as it appeared in digit silver buy. [at that time ATI X 300 SE was 3400] Now I realise that big companies can influence digit reviews. I find this X300SE good enough and not anything less than 6600GT.

ATI do not get favourable reviews in digit, however, their products are better and price also comparatively less than its counterparts

WHY , plz enlighten . & how far/away is recommended. Actually my UPS is also pretty close - 1 feet - to the monitor 19" samsung TFT ( i am scared to hell with the thots of any damage to it ).

I suppose 30 inch away atleast. This is to avoid flickerings in monitor specially CRTs. If UPS is local brand, then should make sure that it is 100% away from monitor. Just keep it at the bottom of your table.

Battery is always hazzardous. Buy only reputed UPS like from APC. Actually local brands are not properly compatible with EMI & EMC standards so they are likely to interfere with the monitor & other components.

LOL... it's not actually the battery that causes the problem, the UPS generates strong magnetic field, which is the problem.

I don't understand why anybody should keep the UPS or any other E/M emitting device away from a TFT. If it is a CRT, it is very relevant.
