I bought a piece of hardware for my desktop pc. As my pc didnt have a USB 3.0 port, i got a Transcend PDU USB3.0 PCI card with 2 ports and power from sata 4 pin power adapter. Working awesome :)

Also bought 1TB HDD Transcend (Green color, with rubber finish)

I bought one 2 TB External HDD and it's giving me hell lot of trouble getting detected on my PC.

Maybe your motherboard doesn't support more than a particular disk size.. check it out with your manufacturer.

another purchase (didn't mention in the earlier post, as was contemplating selling it off at that moment):

*i.imgur.com/CticJivl.jpg (for the sake of comparison -- the right-one is acer ferrari w/l gaming-mouse, which i had purchased long back in an offer; third from the left is rapoo w/l mouse, and the last, is zebronics, which i purchased a few days back in an urgency to get a cheap w/l mouse, as the rapoo mouse was showing signs of wearing out. the zeb mousing isn't very appealing to use or look. hence decided to buy a better mouse this time, and got this dell one; and funnily, i just changed the battery of the rapoo-mouse, and its behaving itself! albeit, its wheel has really worn out from the inside).

i was contemplating selling the dell mouse as soon as i opened the wrap, because contrary to what impression i had made about the mouse on seeing a video on it before placing the order, i found it to be small! i can't stand small mouse much, as they give some pain-type funny sensations in my ring finger and the pinky. however, i was about to click snaps of it to put it on the forums for sale, when thought - "this also has the same ID that i had in my training-days (123), so let's atleast open it up and test it before selling, because as it is, would have to sell at a loss, so why not first test it."

upon opening, i found these:

- matte-finish of the click-surfaces and the sides. i had read about this before purchasing it, but had forgotten it later. its a big plus-point for me!
- default movement-speed is smooth and good, unlike the zeb one. that instantly felt erratic and not-so-responsive!
- wheel is the smoothest of all the mouse i have ever used!
- clicks are also meek in sound, again, unlike the loud zeb ones, and feel nice to just click (owing to their shallow depth)! ;)

so, have decided to keep it (to avoid any instance or occurrence of any pain, have thought of trying some desi jugaad, like tucking a small cloth behind the heel of the mouse inside my palm for the 'bigger' feel and for resting the palm more easily on the mouse). :)
