Nice mobo.. With enuff features.. According to me, its good VFM...But yes it still lacks some features that ASUS have...

Is it USB powered or powered separately by connecting to an AC power socket?

It is defiantly need power from Separate AC Outlet, for USB power option you need to go with Seagate FreeAgent|Go series...still now it's Max Cap 500GB.

Try looking at Samtha Infotech(Nakoda Plaza..Mobo..And Proccy if not in Vajawat), Vajawat Computers(I dunno whether they sell them in retail..Proccy..),Aarti Computers(Raheja Complex..RAM..)
Cabinet is of ur choice... Any shop...

I got each and every components seperately according to the price quoted by various vendors.. This is the best you can get, may be a 10-50 bucks extra as they sell the pdt based on dollar exchange price basis...
