I was refunded in 4 days
And the sata connection became loose. If I touch it, it disconnects and reconnects again

Can we use 2.5" HDD without power adapter?

Be careful, I thought of putting mine 24x7 on... I was terrified.... Imagine if it happened in the middle of the night...

i got for 340+55 for 3 months warranty

and 2.5" has a power+data connectors no???
then without connecting the power connector will it work?

Well, mine from ebay works fine, gives normal speed and simple to use.

@kARTechnology Congrats. How good is media streaming via USB ?

well i mapped the drive in windows, used LAN Speed test lite v1.2.0 free
using a TRANSCEND 16GB drive
If i transfer a 500mb file(means the software creates it and sees the speed)
I get 3MBps write and 10 MBps read

for a 10 mb file
write 8 MBPS and read 14MBPS

for 50 mb file
write 4.5 MBPS and read 4.8MBPS

will copy a 1080p hd movie and see if it can stream...
edit: able to stream a AVCHD 1080p 4GB 23fps movie without any glitched/lag but will take 1-5 sec when u seek

tests performed from a wired connection

it has dlna
