AVI is the container format. What matters is, which codecs you have inside it. :)

These will play:
Video formats supported: H.264 video up to 720p, 30 frames per second, Main Profile level 3.1 with AAC-LC audio up to 160 Kbps, 48kHz, stereo audio in .m4v, .mp4, and .mov file formats; MPEG-4 video, up to 2.5 Mbps, 640 by 480 pixels, 30 frames per second, Simple Profile with AAC-LC audio up to 160 Kbps per channel, 48kHz, stereo audio in .m4v, .mp4, and .mov file formats; Motion JPEG (M-JPEG) up to 35 Mbps, 1280 by 720 pixels, 30 frames per second, audio in ulaw, PCM stereo audio in .avi file format

yea. Android tablets are anyday better than the iPad. This iPad 2 was a gift for someone anyways.

In first case, I think the price is fine. In second case....well the only reason I bought it was because my Nokia 5800 died. And this is my third phone anyways in 7 years. I tend to use my gadgets for long enough and it was my requirement tbh. I'm making full use of it.

Well yeah :D Coz I had to buy it for someone else, and the budget was as minimum as possible. It was the only USB mouse available under 200, so hadn't any other options. BTW c'mon it looks cool ;)
