Guys can someone help with what should be the ideal screen resolution. When I increase the resolution I find the icons on desktop going small and difficult to see as compared to when the resolution is slow.

That's what is supposed to happen when you increase the resolution, dude.

If icons are very small...

First Click somewhere empty space on the desktop to make sure mouse is focused on Desktop.
Press and Hold Ctrl and then scroll up and down middle wheel on your mouse.. The icons will get increase or decrease depends on your rotation..

Native resolution is the maximum res your monitor supports and in your case, its full hd i.e 1920x1080. Always keep it at this res when watching movies.

I always keep my monitor resolution @1080p less than dat is not suitable for 22 & above inches monitors

Purchased a 32 inch LG 32LD460 full hd TV. Its an IPS panel with 2 hdmi ports and plays 1080p mkv files directly from usb!!!!

Total damage was 30.3k including taxes.
