Bought GTA IV from alfa market, andheri-w, mumbai for rs425/-. now isn't that cheap..guess what? the pirated edition has 4 dvds & is selling for rs400/-...now who would be a fool(or pirate) enough to buy it when the genuine one can be had for only 25rs more..hats off to rockstar for the price!

sorry yaar..I dont want to mean that..i just asked it casually...from next time I will be very carefull of my posting....sorry to every body..ok...but one thing I would like to share u where I live there is no source or store to buy a original game..there is shop to buy original software like xp,adobe,anti-viruses...I also use the original of those...but no shop for original game..

You can get all latest genuine games at Starmark in South City Mall, although I'm not so genuine hogging myself but I can usually save enough to buy one game per month average.

thanks dude for the information...yes I can afford 1/2 original games per month..but if anyone want to play all latest good games then belonging to a middlecast Indian family I truely can't afford that..u see just as example call of duty-4 original rate is 1100/-,gears of war 1500/-...it is possible to buy that...then in this case..i have to download or have to buy the pirated.....i dont know if a original bollywood movie dvd can be sold in just 50/- or 60/-...what is the problem in game??????

Dude Bollywood earns money thru cinema halls, sponcers and all......
But a game requires lot more then a bollywood movie, a game is like a movie in which engineer has to direct, choreograph and produce every single inch of ur screen, which includes character, making games lifelike require lot many retakes than a movie...huge team of engineers, music team, AI team and all have to be paid naa....

yes dude I know...but if a original game became just 200/- or 300/-..then all the gamers will buy that...no one will buy a pirated one..like this...gears of war cost 1500/-..so I assumed that in a city hardly 15 gamer buy that those have enough money..but if it became 200/- or 300/-...then all the gamers will buy that..minimum it will be 150..then tell me where is the profit?.....i may be wrong and I am not a business man..just I think so...because in India most of the man have to buy pirated rather than a original just for high price..
