I also bought the 6GB version and the battery backup is awesome, much better than ViVO and Samsung S9+ and 10~15mins behind Redmi Note 5 Pro

But is the cpu performance comparable to Snapdragon 636?
And heating (if any)?

Once upon a time, mediatek processors used to heat up a lot. Is that solved now?

No heating issues.
Performance is much better in P60 than SD636
apps open faster and benchmark score is high in P60
