Yup.. thats right.

Kevin Cost me Rs. 6500/- and Battery price may vary for different AH (Ampere Hour), 60AH Tubular is around Rs 3800 - 4500/-, same 60AH Dry battery cost around 6000/-

Well UPS efficiency depends on the battery and the connected load. I opt for 60AH Tubular Battery.
Its your choice to go, for more backup can take upto 115AH (roughly 'll give you around 6-8 Hrs backup at < half load.

Big companies like APC etc not give the option to attach EXTERNAL battery, there is one model which comes at a hefty price of 40K+

Remark - Make a double check with your power consumption, if its going to be GX2 with 24" TFT, 4xRAID then better go with above 1000VA UPS, 800VA can't Cold start that configuration.

That's Impressive. What tool did u use to create those illustrations??

MS Visio 2007 (comes with office 2007 professional or enterprise versions)..its actually cool for making such illustrations !! simply gives professional looking flowcharts and diagrams! and one can export them to variety of formats
