my requirement is to increase the HDD to 500G. will the current h/w and mobo support it?
i will also run a bunch of other OSs (with VMWARE workstation) RHEL SLES winXP and win2k3 for testing and creating mini-lab environment. my base OS will mostly be WinXP.

i want to increase my RAM to 3 or 4 Gigs.

how much wud that cost?
does it make sense to upgrate or buy a new mobo completely.

thank you.

I am guessing you mean this motherboard: D102GGC2

Here is you manual: *download.intel.com/support/motherboards/desktop/d102ggc2/sb/d4427801us.pdf

It should support a 500GB hdd.
